This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wishes to work flexible, part-time hours managing a community centre in Woodford Green on the outskirts of London. Woodford Community Centre (WCC) is conveniently located near Woodford Underground Station and is a few minutes' drive from Epping Forest. 

WCC is a charity managed by trustees who attend Woodford Evangelical Church, which meets at the community centre. WCC is an established organisation with a wide range of hirers and users. The charity's objectives are to provide facilities for the local community and to advance the Christian faith. 

WCC is looking for a Centre Operations Manager who will oversee the continued growth and development of the centre. The successful candidate will play an integral role in strategic development and income generation. They will be sympathetic and supportive of the organisation's objectives. They will also be self-motivated and have excellent communication and organisation skills. 

The role consists of 20 hours per week, which is 50% of the full-time equivalent. The hours are flexible and can be spread across the week. Some tasks can be completed at home while others require an on-site presence. 

The pro rata salary is £40,000 - £44,000, depending on the candidate's previous experience and ability. This equates to £20,000 - £22,000 per year for this part-time role. 

WCC is part of the NEST pension scheme with employer contributions of 3%. Employees have the right to opt out of the scheme.
